At productronica 2025 in Munich, the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster presented innovative technologies and networking projects for the industry of the future. Visitors were able to find out about the latest developments in the fields of automation, human-robot collaboration and sustainable production processes.
The Mechatronics & Automation Cluster of Bayern Innovativ was once again prominently represented at productronica 2025 this year. Cluster members and partners presented their latest developments and showed how modern automation solutions make production more efficient, flexible and sustainable.
The following members and partners were there:
- ASSEMBLIFY GmbH: modular manufacturing and assembly systems for industrial applications and optimizes production processes through automation.
- Bavarian Chips Alliance: networking of microelectronics players in Bavaria to promote research, development and production of semiconductor technologies.
- Buchner GmbH: specializes in the production of innovative packaging and dosing systems for food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics
- EJOT SE: fastening solutions, screws and fixing technology for the automotive, construction and industrial sectors.
- EUTECT GmbH: precision tools, fasteners and soldering materials for industrial applications.
- Evosys Laser GmbH: Laser processing solutions for industrial production, from cutting to welding and engraving.
- Hermann Otto GmbH (OTTO-Chemie): Manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and construction chemicals for construction and industry.
- KAESER KOMPRESSOREN SE: Energy-efficient compressed air systems and solutions for industry and trade worldwide.
- AI in production: The Augsburg AI production network connects companies, research institutions and start-ups in the region in order to integrate artificial intelligence into production processes in a targeted manner and thus increase the efficiency, quality and innovative strength of production.
- METEOR AG Switzerland: innovative manufacturing and assembly technologies for the electronics and mechanical engineering industry.
- Schärer + Kunz: high-precision machines for textile and hose production as well as industrial manufacturing solutions.
- Solectrix: Components and systems for energy and storage technology, especially for sustainable electronics solutions.
The stand provided an opportunity for direct exchange between companies, research institutions and technology providers. The exhibits aroused curiosity about concrete examples of practical implementation, from AI-supported manufacturing to innovative sensor systems.
"productronica is an ideal place for us to present the latest trends in the industry and make valuable contacts for future collaborations," says Dr. Andreas Hackner, Head of the Mechatronics & Automation Cluster. "The dialog on Industry 5.0 in particular shows how closely the individual technologies are interlinked and that we can only shape the production of the future together."
