Recap: Meetup - Creative Tech for Impact

Yesterday, the third “CreativeTech for Impact” meetup brought together creative professionals, tech experts, and other interested individuals at the Munich Urban Colab in Munich. The focus was on the intersection of creativity, technology, science, and business, as well as preparations for the Cross-Innovation Journey to Ars Electronica 2026.

In an open, networking-oriented atmosphere, the event provided a space for cross-sectoral exchange, new connections, and potential collaborations. Practical insights demonstrated how cross-innovation can lead to concrete projects and new business models.
Charlotte Stegmayer, CreativeTechHUB Project Manager at Bayern Innovativ GmbH, provided information on Bavarian funding concepts and programs for collaborative and follow-up projects.

Bruno Götz, Head of Patents and Standards at Bayern Innovativ GmbH, clearly explained the most important intellectual property rights for cultural and creative professionals and offered guidance on funding opportunities as well as common pitfalls to avoid.

Ánh Nguyen of Art Management & Concepts presented cross-innovation business cases in her keynote speech “Curator & Art Consultant,” highlighting instances where art, business, and technology were successfully combined.

The “Navigating Cross Innovation” workshop opened up new perspectives for creative professionals on cross-sector collaboration and rounded out the diverse program.
