On October 19, 2027, the 2027 preparatory process (abbreviated as “2027 Preparatory Process”) for the CO₂ Differential Contracts funding program began. In conjunction with this, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) is offering two “Digital Consultation Sessions on CO₂ Differential Contracts.” Interested parties will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the 2027 Preliminary Procedure and ask questions.

Each one-hour webinar focuses on a different key topic. A roughly 20-minute presentation is followed by a Q&A session, during which participants can ask questions anonymously via the chat function. In addition, the presenters will answer questions that can be submitted in advance via email to fragen@co2-differenzvertraege.info.

All questions—including those that cannot be answered during the webinars due to time constraints—will be answered in writing afterward and published in anonymized form on the website under the heading “Questions from the Bidding Rounds.”

Below you will find the topics and dates for the two digital consultation sessions, as well as the option to register directly.
