New EU Fact Sheet on Horizon Europe Cluster 2
Results and Funding Figures on Culture, Creativity, and an Inclusive Society

The European Commission has published a new fact sheet providing an overview of research and innovation funding in Cluster 2, “Culture, Creativity, and Inclusive Society,” of Horizon Europe. The fact sheet highlights past investments, funded projects, and their contribution to addressing societal challenges in Europe.
Since the launch of Horizon Europe in 2021, a total of 407 projects have been funded in Cluster 2. These projects address topics such as democracy, cultural heritage, social and economic changes, and the cultural and creative industries. The social sciences and humanities play a particularly important role in this context.
The fact sheet illustrates how research findings can help improve our understanding of societal changes and support evidence-based decision-making at the local, regional, national, and European levels.
