Navigation technology sought for drones in GPS-disturbed environments

December 1, 2025

A Lithuanian company that develops and manufactures unmanned aerial systems (UAS) such as jet wing aircraft and FPV drones is looking for partners for navigation solutions that enable autonomous flight without a GNSS/GPS signal. The systems are to be used in civil and safety-related applications and also reliably maintain their position, attitude and flight route in urban, mountainous or military areas.

Requirements
We are looking for technologies such as sensor-based, visual or other non-GNSS-supported navigation methods that can be integrated into existing flight control systems and are suitable for both fixed-wing aircraft and multicopters. Important competencies are autonomous navigation without GPS, sensor fusion (e.g. IMU, barometer, magnetometer, camera, padar, LiDAR), visual odometry, terrain mapping and real-time flight control.

Intended cooperation
The main form of cooperation being sought is technology partnerships, joint development projects and commercial agreements with technical support from companies, research institutes or universities. The partners should contribute software modules or hardware prototypes, carry out joint tests in real application scenarios and support integration into the company's existing UAV platform.
