MEDAM research project - additive manufacturing in medical technology

The MEDAM research project supports SMEs entering the field of additive manufacturing for medical technology - with knowledge transfer, training and practical solutions for innovative applications.

With the MEDAM research project, Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences is supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in their entry into additive manufacturing. The aim is to accelerate the transfer of innovative additive manufacturing technologies into practice and to support companies in the development of new applications. The focus is on training opportunities, knowledge transfer and the joint development of practical solutions for medical technology applications. The project is complemented by network meetings, transfer events and feasibility studies that promote the exchange between science and industry. Through the close integration of research, digitalization and industrial application, MEDAM makes an important contribution to strengthening the innovative capacity of medical technology and to the sustainable anchoring of additive manufacturing in the industry
