Kick-off for the "kAeMu" project: Together for the future of additive manufacturing!

We are delighted to announce the official launch of our project "kAeMu - Qualification of employees in Bavarian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the field of additive manufacturing". This pioneering project is funded by the ESF+ program and aims to pave the way for Bavarian SMEs into the world of additive manufacturing and strengthen them in the long term.

The goal: knowledge transfer and networking

Additive manufacturing (AM) has long been more than just a trend - it is a technology that has the potential to make production processes more efficient and innovative. However, access and implementation are often associated with challenges. This is where kAeMu comes in:

1. Knowledge transfer: we make the potential of additive manufacturing processes tangible and support companies in using the technology efficiently.
2. Breaking down barriers: Through practical training courses and workshops, we eliminate uncertainties and help to clear up misunderstandings.
3. Networking: We promote the exchange between companies, system manufacturers, service providers and users in order to enable close cooperation along the entire process chain.

Planned activities

kAeMu offers a wide range of measures to provide companies with optimum support:

• Knowledge transfer events: Five topic-specific events per year impart practical knowledge relating to component identification, construction, process chains, digitalization and more.
• Network meetings: Participants meet twice a year to make contacts, share best practices and shape the future of additive manufacturing together.
