The InnoNext program of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) launches innovative practical research stays in companies. Start-ups, SMEs and research-funded companies can host academic talent for three to six months. The aim is to strengthen the transfer of knowledge and technology within Europe and to develop practical innovations.

The InnoNext program, funded by the EIC and EIT, strengthens collaboration between excellent researchers, start-ups and SMEs through fully funded "Innovation Internships". These internships, lasting three to six months, are designed to bridge the gap between science and industry and promote knowledge and technology transfer within the European research and innovation ecosystem.
The aim of InnoNext is to bring together highly qualified academic talent with innovative companies in order to facilitate multidisciplinary cooperation and practical research.

Companies that are already funded by EIC or EIT programs are eligible to participate. Companies that receive funding from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) can also host their employees for an innovation internship.
