Be there when representatives from music, film, books, press, architecture, broadcasting, performing arts, design, software and games, art and advertising meet in Hamburg on March 6 and 7, 2024 for the German Creative Economy Summit (GCES)! The summit, the largest industry meeting of the eleven submarkets of the cultural and creative industries in Germany, promises two days full of inspiration, knowledge exchange and networking.
At Hamburg's Theaterfabrik Kampnagel, you will experience inspiring keynotes, exciting discussions and interactive workshops - for example on creative AI, monetization models, internationalization, innovation processes and social systems, sustainability, urban development and intellectual property. The summit will be moderated by musician Nina Sonnenberg, who already hosted our award ceremony for Bavarian creative locations in 2022. We are contributing a workshop on the topic of #sustainability to the program:
[Workshop] Creative dialogs for sustainability: A discussion of values among creative professionals
March 07, 2024 | 3:15 pm
To what extent can and should sustainability as a value influence creative activity? This question is becoming increasingly urgent, especially in view of the increasing demands of funding and commissioning bodies for climate-friendly implementation of commissions and projects. What contribution can cultural and creative professionals make to sustainability and what responsibility do they bear? Where are the limits? Join us for an inspiring discussion of values that will give you the opportunity to reflect on your own values. Through open discussions, we not only want to sharpen your sensitivity to different points of view, but also formulate common positions. Let's develop a proactive attitude together to meet the challenges ahead. We look forward to your participation!
