First Year Review RTIT: RTIT project evaluation after one year

The Interreg Danube funding projects are regularly evaluated after one year. This was the case for RTIT in March. Positive feedback from the EU Project Officers: RTIT is on track!

After one year, the First Year Review for the Interreg Danube Region project RTIT was officially held. On March 18, 2025, the project partners met with representatives of the Interreg Danube Joint Secretariat in Budapest.

We have already achieved the following milestones together in the project

• Establishment of our Material and Material Technologies knowledge community in the Danube region
• Establishment of the three thematic groups Advanced Materials, Biobased Materials, Sustainable Materials
• Policy mapping to record the innovation and technology strategies in the Danube region, development of recommendations
• Mapping of stakeholders to further expand the knowledge community
• Mapping and selection of tools for further work in the project on design management, transfer and knowledge community
• Online lectures on advanced materials, biobased materials, sustainable materials
• Project meetings with workshops and study visits in Ljubljana, Nuremberg, Linz and Nikšić and online
• Presentation of RTIT at the Circularity in Biobased Materials symposium of Wood K plus - Kompetenzzentrum Holz GmbH in Linz

Now it's time to implement the pilot campaigns with the companies in the regions. We are excited.
