It won't be long before the "ePA for all", the electronic patient file, is gradually available to all citizens from January 15, 2025. and stood . As part of the "ePA for all" information campaign, the Federal Ministry of Health's Infomobile is touring Germany to provide information about the electronic patient file (ePA). On 11/12.10.2024 it was on Ludwigsplatz in Nuremberg.
We from the Health Innovation Network at Bayern Innovativ were also represented: Our project manager Laura Stahl was on site at the Infomobile together with Lukas Carl from Medical Valley as part of the Health Care BY Your Side and TI model region Franconia projects. Citizens were able to find out about the advantages of the ePA for digital healthcare, ask questions and have the functions of the ePA explained to them directly.
?????? ???? ?? ????? ????, or HCBYS for short, is a model region in Bavaria that integrates digital applications in a patient-oriented way and without any additional burden for service providers. It offers customized training for stakeholders in the healthcare system and improves the population's digital health literacy through educational campaigns.
The model region was initiated and is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention.
The ??-???????????? ??????? pursues a similar goal by supporting the implementation and expansion of digital applications such as the e-prescription and the ePA in everyday healthcare. Both projects focus on improving digital health literacy and integrating digital solutions in order to ensure needs-oriented and safe care for citizens.
These model regions are real pioneers on the way to a modern healthcare system - the knowledge gained here flows directly into the further development of digital solutions. This also includes the ePA, as the residents of these model regions are among the first to benefit from this groundbreaking innovation. Together with our network of doctors' surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals and the care sector, among others, we are testing the use of the ePA in the area in order to gather important findings for the nationwide rollout. We at Bayern Innovativ Gesundheit are delighted to be part of these projects.
