The European Innovation Council (EIC) provides support across the entire innovation spectrum - from early-stage research to scale-up. It identifies and supports breakthrough technologies and innovations from start-ups and SMEs with the potential to become international market leaders. The funding instruments are kept largely open-topic and provide space for interdisciplinary ideas. In addition to technological topics, non-technological topics, such as social innovations or innovations in the service sector, can also be supported.
On the funding instrument "EIC ACCELERATOR", our EEN Bayern network partner BayFor will provide information in a free online workshop on August 10 and 11, 2022. The funding instrument EIC Accelerator exclusively supports highly innovative SMEs and start-ups in developing their concrete and high-risk innovations to market maturity. The funding rate is 70 percent and applicants have the option to apply for equity capital in combination with development funds (grants). The funding ranges from €0.5 to €2.5 million and the equity capital can be up to €15 million.
The workshop will introduce the new EIC platform, show how to overcome the difficulties and hurdles of the new platform and explain the application structure . The first day will focus on the short application, the second day on the full application. External experts will explain the framework conditions, how to work with applicants on the Full Application and how best to formulate the application. At the end, a Bavarian company will describe the experiences it has had in its own successful application. The workshop will be held in German. You can register for one or both days here .
