If you as a company are planning a research and development project in the field of digitalization in collaboration with other partners from industry and science, you can receive a grant under certain conditions. As part of the Bavarian Collaborative Research Program (BayVFP), the Free State of Bavaria supports industry-led, pre-competitive collaborative projects focusing on information and communication technology and electronic systems.
In the field of information and communication technology, the following topics are particularly eligible for funding: Hardware and software engineering, data or knowledge management, human-machine communication, real-time systems and embedded systems, data networks for intelligent infrastructures (for example energy, mobility and others), automation and intelligent production, communication networks, technical information technology services, information technology security, quantum technology.
In the field of electronic systems, the following topics are particularly eligible for funding: design of complex electronic and information technology systems, system integration, production technologies for electronic systems, nano-, micro-, opto- and power electronics, microsystems, sensor technology, actuator technology, mechatronic systems, measurement and control technology, development of electronic devices and assemblies, quantum technology.
