Delegation Trip to the Netherlands: Smart Industry and Cognitive Robotics

Discover the Dutch High-Tech Ecosystem

October 5, 2026

From November 17 to 19, 2026, a delegation of companies from Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg will visit the Dutch high-tech regions of Delft, Eindhoven, and Brainport. The focus will be on smart manufacturing, cognitive robotics, industrial AI, and new opportunities for German-Dutch cooperation.

The Netherlands possesses particular expertise in the fields of advanced manufacturing and cognitive robotics. The delegation trip offers companies the opportunity to experience the Dutch innovation ecosystem firsthand, establish contacts with companies and research institutions, and explore concrete approaches for cross-border collaboration.
Here, German strengths in Industry 4.0 meet Dutch expertise in high-tech systems engineering, the semiconductor and photonics industries, mechatronics, and applied artificial intelligence. There is particular potential for cooperation in:

  • industrial data ecosystems,
  • cognitive automation in complex and existing production environments,
  • the introduction of industrial AI in small and medium-sized enterprises.
