The partners of the European CURIOST project met for the fifth project meeting in Pécs, Hungary, on May 12 and 13.
The focus was on evaluating the cooperation to date with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which have been supported in the development and implementation of circular economy solutions in recent months.
The project reached an important milestone with this meeting. Following the conclusion of the practical pilot phase, the focus is now on processing and utilizing the knowledge gained. In the coming months, CURIOST intends to publish policy recommendations, methods and toolkits to support companies and institutional stakeholders in integrating circular economy approaches.
In addition to the technical discussions, the project partners gained insights into innovative manufacturing processes and modern production solutions during a visit to Acquacut. The on-site exchange was intended to provide additional impetus for the further development of practical circular economy concepts.
The participants also used the meeting for personal networking and an intensive exchange between the international project partners. According to the organizers, the direct dialogue on site in particular helped to further strengthen cooperation within the project and develop new perspectives for a more circular future.
