Apply now: Third call for "Culture moves Europe" mobility scholarships launched

The EU Commission has published a new call for proposals as part of the "Culture moves Europe" initiative. The program offers mobility grants for artists and cultural professionals in fields such as architecture, cultural heritage, design, fashion, literature, music, performing and visual arts. The aim is to promote creativity, cross-border exchange and professional networking.

Supported projects

Applications can be submitted by individuals or groups of up to five people who wish to implement a joint project with a partner in one of the countries of the "Creative Europe" program. The target country must be different from the applicant's country of residence.

The projects should pursue at least two of the following objectives:

  • Explore: Conducting artistic research and developing new themes or concepts.
  • Create: Creating a new artistic or cultural work.
  • Learning: Expanding skills through non-formal learning or collaboration with specialists.
  • Networking: Build professional networks and promote personal development.

The partner in the target country can be an individual, organization or venue. Proof of the planned collaboration is required as part of the application.

Artists and cultural professionals with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply, as additional financial support is available for them.

The application deadline is November 30, 2024.

About "Culture Moves Europe"
"Culture Moves Europe" is expected to be able to support around 7,000 artists and cultural practitioners over the next three years with a budget of over 21 million euros. "Culture Moves Europe" offers grants to individual artists, cultural operators and host organizations from all cultural and creative sectors who are also eligible to participate in the "Creative Europe" programme. The aim is to enable emerging artists and cultural professionals to go abroad to further their professional development or to collaborate internationally, to carry out self-initiated projects, to research, create, learn or network.
