Cross-innovation journey to Ars Electronica 2025

Creativity meets MedTech

05.08.2025

Technological developments such as AI, robotics and human-machine systems are opening up new fields of application and action in the healthcare sector, enabling creative co-design and interdisciplinary perspectives. As part of the cross-innovation trip to Ars Electronica 2025, cultural and creative professionals, medical technology companies and researchers will come together to develop interdisciplinary ideas and lay the foundations for innovative follow-up projects, collaborations and artistic interventions. The participation places for the players from all eleven submarkets of the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) were awarded as part of a jury process.

Interdisciplinary collaboration at the interface of art, technology and health

Ars Electronica is one of the world's leading festivals for art, technology and society. In order to specifically promote networking between the cultural and creative industries, medical technology and science, the cross-innovation trip to Ars Electronica 2025 brings together players from the NPP with medical technology companies and representatives from science. The aim is to stimulate innovation processes in the healthcare sector through new perspectives on artistic and creative work and to promote the transfer between sectors.
The trip is being organized by the Creative Industries department at Bayern Innovativ in cooperation with Ars Electronica and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi).
