In view of the increasing demand for skilled workers, the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy has launched the online platform "Make it in Bavaria".
This is aimed both at international skilled workers who want to live and work in Bavaria and at Bavarian companies looking for qualified employees.
State Secretary for Economic Affairs Tobias Gotthardt emphasized the importance of this initiative: "Our new 'Make it in Bavaria' platform is another piece of the puzzle against the shortage of skilled workers in Bavaria. [...] In order to compensate for demographic change, we need the targeted immigration of qualified specialists."
The platform complements the nationwide "Make it in Germany" portal with specific information about the Bavarian labor market, quality of life and integration offers. It offers success stories of skilled workers and employers who are already working in Bavaria, as well as important contacts and support for the recruitment and integration of international skilled workers.
The "Make it in Bavaria" platform is an important step towards counteracting the shortage of skilled workers in Bavaria and securing Bavaria's economic strength in the long term. Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
