6G for the Future of Healthcare: 6G-life on Board MS Wissenschaft 2026
17.06.2026
How will 6G transform healthcare? The 6G-life research project at MS Wissenschaft 2026 showcases how next-generation mobile networks can enable health monitoring, telemedicine, and innovative medical services.
How can future mobile networks help detect diseases earlier, improve patient care, and enable new healthcare applications?
Visitors can explore these questions through the 6G-life project, one of the exhibits aboard MS Wissenschaft 2026, Germany’s floating science exhibition dedicated to the theme “Medicine of the Future”.
6G-life is a joint research project of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and TU Dresden. The project investigates how next-generation 6G networks could support future healthcare applications, ranging from intelligent wearables and continuous health monitoring to advanced telemedicine services. Many of these innovations will depend on highly reliable, secure, and low-latency communications.
The exhibition will also stop in Bavaria:
Würzburg, September 8–11, 2026
Admission is free. Further information about the exhibition and the tour schedule can be found on the MS Wissenschaft website.
