3D Printing Practice Forum: AI in Additive Manufacturing

How can artificial intelligence make additive manufacturing more efficient, precise, and cost-effective? Answers to this question will be provided at the 13th 3D Printing Practice Forum, “Artificial Intelligence in Additive Manufacturing,” on October 15, 2026, at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

The focus will be on current developments and practical applications of AI across the entire additive manufacturing value chain, from design through production planning and process monitoring to quality management. Experts from industry and research will present current solutions, research findings, and application examples. The lecture program will be complemented by an accompanying trade exhibition offering insights into innovative technologies and applications related to industrial 3D printing. The event is aimed in particular at companies that wish to tap into the potential of AI for their additive manufacturing processes.
