Do you want to help shape the future of health, AI, human-machine interaction, robotics, care or prevention? Then apply for the cross-innovation trip to Ars Electronica 2025 and develop interdisciplinary ideas for the future of health, AI and human-machine interaction together with players from medical technology and science. During the cross-innovation trip to Ars Electronica from September 3 to 5, 2025, creative minds will meet players from medical technology and science. The aim is to jointly develop innovative concepts that rethink health, AI, robotics and human-machine interaction. In order to specifically promote networking between the cultural and creative industries and companies from the medical technology sector, we are inviting ten committed creative professionals to take part in the trip to Linz. Ars Electronica is one of the most internationally renowned festivals combining art, technology and society. Take this opportunity to contribute your ideas, start exciting collaborations and provide impetus for new projects.

Who can apply?

We are looking for creative professionals with an interest in high-tech, interdisciplinary collaboration and experience in the field of health:

  • Artists from the fields of media art, digital art, interactive art and audiovisual art
  • Creatives from design, architecture, gaming, film, music and related fields
  • Innovators working at the interface of art, science and technology
  • Companies and micro-enterprises in the eleven submarkets of the cultural and creative industries (CCIs)

  • You have experience and interest in new technologies.

Costs for artists and creative professionals

Participation is free of charge. Artists and creative professionals must cover their own travel costs.

The trip is organized by the Creative Industries department at Bayern Innovativ in cooperation with Ars Electronica and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi) as well as bayern design GmbH, Bayern International GmbH and the XR HUB Bavaria Munich . The trip is supported by Kreativ München (City of Munich, Department of Labor and Economic Affairs, Cultural and Creative Industries Competence Team). Together with medical technology companies and representatives from science, the interdisciplinary exchange between art, science and business is to be strengthened. The aim is to promote innovation processes and initiate concrete follow-up projects (e.g. collaborations or research projects).
