Bavarian Incentive Program for the Purchase of Hydrogen-Powered Commercial Vehicles
The use of light- and heavy-duty zero-emission commercial vehicles powered by hydrogen in road traffic is necessary to achieve the ambitious climate protection goals in the transportation sector. At the same time, these vehicles are currently significantly more expensive than comparable diesel and battery-electric vehicles. The program aims to reduce the additional costs associated with the purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles and to complement existing programs for the development of electrolyzer and hydrogen refueling station infrastructure, thereby addressing regional value chains.
Funding is provided for the additional investment costs associated with the purchase of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles (N1, N2, and N3) in Bavaria.
