Technologie Campus Grafenau

As an institution of the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences (THD) for applied research, the Technology Campus Grafenau (TCG) bundles the know-how of the THD in three interdisciplinary research fields "Smart Region" (Digital Village), "Business Data Analytics & Optimization" and "Applied Artificial Intelligence". The research fields are geared towards major challenges of digitalization in industry and society, urbanization and sustainability. The TCG team works on future-oriented projects such as digitalization in rural areas, Industry 4.0, reduction of food waste, sensor data analysis and fraud detection in close cooperation with commercial and industrial companies, municipalities and research institutions. Core competencies include algorithm and app developments, database and cloud technologies, material flow optimization, statistical data analyses as well as machine learning.
