Meteor AG, a Swiss company based in the canton of Schwyz, is engaged in the development, manufacture and worldwide distribution of winding machines and winding technology.

About 5 years ago, Meteor also entered the automation for winding technology. As the only company still producing in Europe, Meteor offers both single-spindle and multi-spindle winding machines in winding technology.

With production for automatic production lines resumed 5 years ago, Meteor offers other techniques in addition to the automatic feeding of coilformers and their winding - e.g..E.g. taping, connection techniques such as soldering or welding, bending and repositioning of contact pins, testing, marking up to palletizing.

In addition, Meteor has recently started offering MWM Meteor Winding Monitoring, the first process monitoring for winding processes in winding technology. Corresponding patents have been granted.
