Valentina Dalla Giovanna is a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2019 and an associate at Rawlings Giles Law Firm, where she specialises in data protection, digital law, and medical law. She is also a researcher at the Smart Law Hub (Université libre de Bruxelles), focusing on the legal dimensions of artificial intelligence and health data. She contributes to the LASO project, which develops legal tools to assess AI-related risks in hospital settings, as well as to the European Brain Data Hub initiative, a collaborative effort promoting data altruism in the context of brain and mental health.
