At IFAT fair 2020, SGL Carbon presents its innovative R&D solutions for cleantech applications focusing on 1) filtration of corrosive media 2) (electrochemical) water treatment, and 3) process technology. Our carbon and silicon carbide-based components feature extraordinary properties as high temperature and corrosion resistance, electric conductivity and high wear resistance.

Among others, carbon-based filter cloths and a pleated carbon filter cartridge are shown as well as electrode materials for electrochemical water treatment and carbon fiber reinforced SiC pump seals for corrosive media at high pressures. In the area of process technology, 3D printed structures for heat exchangers, catalyst carriers and charging racks are on display.
