Info

At kiutra, our mission is to provide our research and industry customers with easy-to-use, turn-key cryostats that give them the time to focus on their work rather than on their cryostats. Our cooling platforms offer continuous sub-Kelvin cooling independent of liquid cooling media, notably independent of rare and costly helium-3. This is essential to provide cryogenic temperatures in a simple, compact, and cost-efficient way, and a prerequisite for the application of quantum electronics at an industrial scale. Our scientific background, our partnerships, and our active exchange with researchers and innovators from all around the world give us a good understanding for the difficulties and needs that arise in day-to-day laboratory work with cryogenic equipment.

Cryogen-free sub-Kelvin Refrigerators for Science and Industry.

Profil

Kiutra facilitates low-temperature investigations of material samples and accelerates the development and testing of quantum hardware and related electronics by means of fast-cooling tools and innovative sample exchange mechanisms.

Produkte

Compact and cryogen-free cryostats for science and technology. Magnetic refrigerators for continuous sub-Kelvin cooling independent of the supply with cryogens.

  • L-Type Rapid: Top-loading cryostat for simple and fast low-temperature analysis.
  • S-Type Essential: Versatile, rack-mountable cryogenic platform
  • S-Type Optical: Compact sub-Kelvin cryostat with free-beam optical access
  • Accessories and Add-ons: Low-temperature equipment for individual cryogenic requirements.

Technologie

By combining closed-cycle cryocoolers and Adiabatic Demagnetization Refrigeration (ADR), cooling into the mK regime can be implemented in a cryogen-free way. This is essential as the poor availability of helium-4 and notably helium-3 have recently caused a strong increase in the costs of operation and acquisition of low-temperature cryogenic equipment. Additionally, compared to traditional cryogenic equipment, the absence of cryogenic liquids makes the operation of our tools safer, decreases maintenance costs and down times, and largely facilitates using cryogenic temperatures in both day-to-day laboratory work and industrial applications.
