Dr. Richard K. Arning is a senior executive in the defense and space sector with over 25 years of experience in navigation warfare, earth observation and satellite communications. Formerly Director of the Investment Division of SES Satellites, he now leads the research activities at the Franco-German Defense Research Institute Saint-Louis on guidance, autonomy and sensor technologies for future weapon systems.
