Peter Steidl completed his Master of Engineering in New Materials, Nano and Production Technology with a focus on metallic materials at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg in 2018.

After completing his master's degree, he worked as a research assistant in the field of surface technology and also dealt with additive manufacturing technology. In addition, he teaches at the University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg.

From October 2021 to August 2025, Peter Steidl worked as a technology project manager at Bayern Innovativ GmbH. He supported and managed projects in the New Materials cluster. Since September 2025, he has been working as a project manager in the Funding & Consulting department.
