Before his appointment as Professor of Entrepreneurship and Digital Business Models at the University of Bayreuth, Prof. Dr. Matthias Braun held the Chair of Entrepreneurship at the Department of Economics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern since 2013.
Prior to this, as part of his post-doctoral work at Justus Liebig University Giessen, he played a key role in promoting start-ups there as operational manager of the Entrepreneurship Cluster Mittelhessen.
He studied economics at the ISC Paris and at the JLU Giessen. During his doctorate, he was supported by Robert Bosch GmbH.
