Martin Buhl is the founder of Helantic Defence Fonds, a Munich-based venture capital fund focused on early-stage investments in defense and dual-use technologies. Previously, Buhl has held various leadership positions in the technology, cyber security and finance industries and has founded several companies. Together with his co-founders, he aims to modernize the European defense industry by investing in artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, cybersecurity and autonomous systems. The targeted promotion of innovative defense start-ups is intended to strengthen Europe's technological sovereignty and resilience in the long term.
