Dr.-Ing. Eike Petersen is Senior Scientist Medical AI and Co-Chair of the Research Cluster "Data & AI Readiness" at Fraunhofer MEVIS. He conducts research on the development of robust and fair medical AI, with a focus on evaluation, monitoring and certification of high-risk AI - and puts these topics into practice in close cooperation with clinics and companies. As co-organizer of the international FAIMI initiative (Fairness of AI in Medical Imaging) and author of several dozen scientific publications, he is internationally networked in medical AI fairness and robustness research.
