Christian Mannweiler received his Dipl.-Ing. (MSc equivalent) and Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D) degrees from University of Kaiserslautern in 2008 and 2014, respectively. He joined Nokia in 2015 and heads the Network Architecture Research department at Nokia Strategy & Technology in Munich, Germany since 2020. Leading a team of 20 researchers, standardization delegates, and Ph.D candidates, Christian shapes Nokia’s directions on technology enablers for the 6th generation (6G) of mobile networks and their integration into RAN and overall system architecture. He is co-author of numerous publications and patents in the field of mobile networking technologies and co-editor/co-author of a book on Cognitive Autonomous Networks - Network Management Automation for 5G and Beyond.
