Carsten Schürmann holds a degree in spatial planning with a focus on transportation planning, regional development and GIS. In 2009, he completed his doctorate at the University of Dortmund on the topic of "Spatial effects of transportation projects: Ex-post analyses in an urban-regional context".
He has been Managing Director of TCP International since 2011 and supports national and international clients from public authorities, governments and the private sector in the planning and implementation of their transport projects. He focuses on cross-border planning, ITS applications and studies on the impact analysis of transport projects.
