Anton Schumann is an experienced entrepreneur and consultant specializing in textile chemistry, nonwovens, knitwear and industrial finishing processes. He has been supporting companies in technology-intensive areas of the textile industry for over 15 years - particularly in the automotive, filtration, aviation, medical technology and military and security-related technical textiles (Military TechTex) segments.

His profile combines in-depth technical understanding with business management expertise. He has extensive experience in product and production development, supply chain management and the strategic alignment of companies along complex international supply chains. He is particularly valued for his ability to support innovation processes not only from a technical, but also from a commercial and organizational perspective.

As Managing Partner of Gherzi Germany GmbH, a company of the globally active Gherzi Textile Organization headquartered in Zurich, Anton Schumann has been responsible for consulting and development projects in the European and global textile industry since 2013. He acts at the interface between industry, investors and institutions - as a strategic initiator and practical implementer.

His holistic understanding of the textile industry forms the basis of his work: he thinks about textile processes across the entire value chain - from the fiber to the finished application - and combines technological developments with market realities.

In 2020, he initiated the KONZEPT MOON together with the Hanns A. Pielenz Foundation and the AMANN Group.
