Dr. Andreas Leupold is a lawyer, publisher and co-author of the handbook "3D Printing: Law, Economics and Technology of Industrial 3D Printing".

Dr. Andreas Leupold has been working intensively on legal issues relating to additive manufacturing and digital transformation for many years. He is a founding member and advisory board member of the 3D printing network "Mobility goes Additive", which includes Deutsche Bahn, Airbus and Volkswagen AG, among others.

In June 2018, Dr. Leupold was appointed by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology to the Additive Manufacturing Expert Committee of the "Masterplan Bayern Digital II". In November 2018, Dr. Andreas Leupold took part in the 3D Printing and IP Law Expert Meeting at the European Commission in Brussels. He is editor and co-author of the Munich Lawyers' Handbook on IT Law published by C.H. Beck. As an industry lawyer, Dr. Andreas Leupold has successfully represented numerous international corporations in IT law, trademark law and licensing law court proceedings.
