Andreas Lermann is Managing Director of Munich Aerospace e.V., the Bavarian aerospace research network. With more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, he brings together partners from science, industry and politics to strengthen innovation and knowledge transfer.

After management positions at Airbus, SPINNER and international technology companies, he most recently held a management position at a leading provider of drone defense. As an officer in the German Armed Forces, he developed a passion for networked thinking, strategic cooperation and sustainable project development at an early stage.

His focus today is on further expanding Bavaria as a leading European location for aerospace research, creating synergies and promoting cooperation between large-scale research, SMEs and start-ups.
