Funding program for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Bavaria 2026-2029

Despite the flexibility of the guideline, the calls for funding generally require the following funding specifications and conditions, among others:

• Charging location in Bavaria
• No early start of measures. The award of a delivery or service contract attributable to the execution is deemed to be the start of the measure.
• No funding for expenditure outside the respective project duration
• No funding for own contributions
• Prohibition of accumulation
• Construction and installation of the subsidized charging points by qualified personnel
• Funding notice at the charging point (sticker provided)
• Regular reporting

The application procedure is a one-stage process. Applications are submitted via the project management organization's electronic application system (see links below). As a rule, applications are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis, but according to a selection process defined in the respective call for funding.
