The transformation hub for wire harnesses was initiated as a funded project within the framework of the German government's "Future Fund for the Automotive Industry" in order to support the transformation of the industry. It serves as a contact point for companies and science and thus combines results from research with the practical needs of the wiring harness industry.

The aim is to identify future topics and trends, develop a portfolio of solutions and create potential applications in order to initiate transformation projects between development partners. Both the company's own and other industries are taken into account. As an information hub, in addition to participating in established industry events, the transformation hub wire harness will also hold various event formats of its own, such as innovation shows, information events and trend outlooks.
