Drinking water . The requirements for the treatment of drinking water increase with the degree of pollution of our ground and surface waters, with the framework conditions set by the legislator,  but also with  the knowledge of the mechanisms of action of pollutants. In addition, offered services are to be designed in an emphasized cost-conscious and space-saving manner, as well as integrative for the cityscape and landscape. In addition, the requirement of sustainability is to be observed. Many years of experience and the resulting reliable mastery of classical treatment processes form the basis for realizing the tasks of the future with new or supplementary processes. The special processes for drinking water treatment remove, for example, nitrate, herbicide or insecticide residues, arsenic or other pollutants. The processes are not only used in new construction, they are particularly suitable for conversions and retrofits.   WATER . Increasing population density, rising living standards, higher agricultural production, intensive animal husbandry, industrial growth and careless handling of waste were the causes of the considerable pollution of our environment. It took immense efforts on the part of industry and municipalities to reach the present state. And yet, much remains to be done. PSE has developed its own technologies and processes for wastewater treatment for municipalities and industry and can make a significant contribution to solving the wastewater problems at hand. The know-how  acquired over decades and the available engineering capacity put PSE in a position to project and execute the optimal process technology, complete technical equipment and turnkey plants for the wastewater side. INDUSTRIAL & PROCESS WATER In the treatment of industrial water, the high requirements can only rarely be met with classic filtration methods. High-performance ion exchanger, adsorber and membrane processes, manufactured from the latest materials, are being used to an increasing extent. For example, the most demanding desalination performance is achieved in boiler feed water or cooling water treatment, in recirculation or condensate treatment. By using these trend-setting technologies, PSE already meets the high demands of the classical industrial sectors as well as the booming industries of the future.
