pro-micron develops and builds miniaturized wireless sensor systems that allow the acquisition of physical measured variables on moving objects. Typical applications are the monitoring of the operating status in plant and mechanical engineering or process control in mechanical processing. Furthermore, pro-micron's wireless sensor systems can also be used to record physical parameters at measuring points that are difficult to access or hermetically sealed off, e.g. in chemical process engineering.In the wireless monitoring systems, the energy for operating the sensor technology integrated in the moving object is coupled in via a coil system, so that batteries can be completely dispensed with here, making the sensor systems maintenance-free. The sensor data is transmitted wirelessly to the transmitting / reading station via the same air interface as standard. A special variant of the pro-micron system combines the inductive energy coupling with a low-power radio module, which transmits the sensor values over longer distances to a receiving station. The pro-micron transponder system consists of a freely programmable core that evaluates any sensor data via four high-resolution A/D converters and then transmits the digitized value to a reading head. For individual developments, the user has the possibility to configure the system with development environments of corresponding microcontrollers. The data interface to further periphery is realized customer-specific (RS 232, USB, bus, etc.). The systems from pro-micron have already proven themselves many times in plant and machine construction. But also in the harsh environment of chemical process engineering, the advantages of pro-micron's battery and wireless measurement data acquisition systems are immediately apparent.

For system development, simulation tools as well as extensive know-how in electronics development and mechanical design are available in addition to appropriate CAD and CAE systems. The range of services is rounded off by extensive options for "smart systems integration", in which a wide variety of assembly and interconnection technologies can be used to implement hybrid microsystems.
