Information

Technology transfer centers of the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences in the districts of Freyung-Grafenau,Regen and Cham Each technology transfer center consists conceptually of two parts:

2. <2. green campus: In close spatial connection to the technology campus, the partner municipality operates a green campus in which sufficient space is made available for spin-offs from the university or for technology-oriented company settlements. This ensures the economic component and sustainability of the concept - on the one hand, the region benefits from new technology-oriented companies that are newly established or settled within the framework of the university cooperation, and on the other hand, the university's technology campus thus secures „customers" for the service offerings and thus the sustainable financing of university activities. The new technology campus of the university Deggendorf in Teisnach bundles the authority within the ranges of the optical technologies, the process development and optimization, the measuring technique and the manufacturing technology. In addition to the development of a teaching program at the Teisnach site, the focus will be on supporting and advising companies in the field of applied research and development. In addition to the use of laboratories and facilities of the university, companies will find competent contacts who will be happy to help with any questions. Deggendorf is the coordinator of the model project E-WALD - Electromobility in the Bavarian Forest In the EWALD project, companies, institutions and municipalities from a region join forces to show how it is possible, through networking and the use of intelligent integrated control concepts, even with currently available basic technology (electric vehicles with affordable storage technology and thus limited range, available and affordable electric vehicles with affordable storage technology and thus limited range, available and affordable electric vehicles);nkter range, available charging technology and electric filling stations - solar carports) to ensure reliable operation even in a region with unfavorable location factors (rural region, mountainous, harsh winters, coverage of a large area with few charging stations, mixed operation tourism - connection between authorities and company locations - individual transport). A special feature of this concept is that all required basic technologies (except vehicles) were developed by partners from the region and the networking and development of the control concepts are also carried out by regional project partners. This has two serious advantages over other model tests:

.

1. New technical requirements that become apparent during the establishment and operation of the model network can be immediately taken up and technically implemented by regional project partners.

Profile

&Overwhelming clarity and a clear profile are the strengths of the young university in the southeast, which in the last ranking of the Center for Higher Education Development (CHE) took a top place for practical training in four courses of study: civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology, and business administration. Teaching and studying are one mainstay, research and development the other. In application-oriented research, scientific findings are developed into new marketable products, processes and services. The variety of study programs corresponds to the diversity of research topics. In the field of electromobility, the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences with its technology transfer centers Freyung, Teisnach and Cham is coordinator and technical development partner in the project E-WALD - Model Region Electromobility Bavarian Forest. It takes on the following tasks here:

.

  • Technology Campus Freyung: Software for navigation technology, geoinformation systems, embedded systems, internal bus software
  • .
  • Technologiecampus Cham: Mechatronics in the vehicle, charge control in the vehicle, linking of sensor data
  • .
  • Technology Campus Teisnach: sensor technology, electronics, coordination of the model test
