BUTTING CryoTech, formerly SCHWANNER, was founded in 1899 as a traditional forge in rural south-eastern Germany on the Austrian border. Over more than a century, the small company has grown into a globally leading medium-sized company in vacuum technology. Since 1984, BUTTING CryoTech has been producing vacuum-insulated transfer systems for cryogenic liquids (including LNG, LH2, LO2, LN2, LHe, LAr) and in 1990 the company entered into the production of cryogenic valves. With a production facility in Burgkirchen, the company supplies many of the world's most renowned companies in the oil & gas, automotive and research sectors. BUTTING CryoTech is held in the highest regard, with product quality and customer satisfaction being the top priorities. In addition to manufacturing, the complete spectrum of engineering, material testing, installation, documentation and service is covered.

Profile

MBUTTING CryoTech fulfills all requirements for cryogenic infrastructures up to the development and construction of special components, for example for valves and cryostats for the fusion industry as well as the special piping required for this. Further experience in special cooling solutions for superconducting materials and magnets ensures a constantly growing know-how and enables us to support and accompany the implementation of the most challenging projects.
