Bayern Innovativ is a knowledge manager, initiator and accelerator for innovation in Bavaria. The company connects business, science and politics via industry, technology and partner networks to form a Thinknet Bavaria with more than 75,000 experts.

The Health Innovation Network at Bayern Innovativ promotes the exchange between companies, research and politics in order to develop new solutions for healthcare. The focus is on digital technologies, medical technology and sustainable approaches aimed at improving quality and efficiency in the healthcare sector. Through networks, events and practical projects, Bayern Innovativ supports the implementation of innovative ideas and strengthens the competitiveness of the industry.

Medical Technology Cluster:
The Medical Technology Cluster brings medical technology innovations into application more quickly by strategically networking companies, start-ups and research institutions and supporting them along the entire innovation process. Funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy and supported by Bayern Innovativ - Health Division and Medical Valley EMN e. V., the cluster brings together over 400 players from business, science, healthcare and politics. With project funding, consulting services and high visibility at trade fairs and events, it strengthens the MedTech sector and creates optimal conditions for a sustainable healthcare industry in Bavaria.

EDIH
EDIH DigiCare is a European Digital Innovation Hub, funded by the European Commission and the Free State of Bavaria. It supports institutions and companies in the healthcare sector in the introduction and testing of digital solutions - from digital duty rosters in care and video consultations in surgeries to AI applications in laboratories or tests of new medical technology in everyday life. EDIH DigiCare picks you up where you are and provides you with targeted support on your journey into the digital future.

HCBYS
Health Care BY Your Side (HCBYS) is a project initiated by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention to strengthen digital healthcare in Franconia. Building on the telematics infrastructure model region of Franconia, HCBYS shows how digital applications can be used by citizens and healthcare professionals in everyday life. The first step is to determine how familiar those involved are already with digital solutions and where challenges still exist. On this basis, the population and service providers are actively involved in the digital transformation of outpatient and inpatient facilities. The aim is to provide needs-oriented, practicable and safe healthcare with a clear focus on people. The StMGP as the client, Bayern Innovativ Gesundheit as the project management, Medical Valley EMN e. V., SRH University Campus Fürth and an advisory board are involved.

TIMO
The Telematics Infrastructure Model Region Franconia (TIMO) is testing digital healthcare applications such as e-prescriptions, electronic patient files and secure communication services directly in medical, nursing and therapeutic facilities. The aim is to test digital processes under real conditions, make their benefits for patients and professionals visible and identify the need for optimization. TIMO is thus laying the foundation for networked, everyday and secure digital healthcare in Franconia.
