In addition to general information on the activities of the Upper Austrian Automotive Cluster in the battery sector, the project "SMaDBatt -Sustainable Designs and Materials vor Batteries" www.biz-up.at/artikel/smadbatt, which deals with the use of renewable raw materials (wood, cork,...) in battery housings, will be presented.
