Trans-Textil GmbH, based in Freilassing, Bavaria, is one of the international technology leaders in the development and manufacture of functional textiles using lamination, membrane technologies, coating, finishing, textile printing, seam sealing and quilting. The 2-, 3- and multi-layer functional composites are used with and without IR signature suppression as multifunctional weather protection clothing, personal textile (protective) equipment and property protection.

Technology / Research

In addition to modern production facilities, an application technology laboratory and a textile testing laboratory are available at the Freilassing site. The development and production portfolio in the area of quilted composites is supplemented by the subsidiary SteppTEX Ges.m.b.H. in Absam near Innsbruck / Tyrol.
