ERC System

ERC is an aviation company based near Munich that develops electrified and hybrid-electric VTOLs. Since its foundation in 2020, three generations of full-scale demonstrators have been built and tested. Our engineering-driven organization focuses on capital-efficient development, robust system architectures and a design that is aligned with regulatory requirements from the outset.

In the manned sector, we are developing a hybrid-electric eVTOL for patient transportation and other critical missions with a spacious cabin, high accessibility and strong range and payload parameters. In parallel, an unmanned product line is being developed as a heavy-lift eVTOL for logistics and civil-critical applications such as supplying remote areas, firefighting or disaster relief.
Research focuses on electric/hybrid drives, highly automated flight control, lightweight structural design, aerodynamics and certification-oriented safety architectures.

ERC System develops electric aviation systems with a focus on unmanned, highly automated vertical take-off and landing vehicles (eVTOLs) for transportation and supply missions. The goal is to realize an airworthy UxS platform with high energy efficiency and modular design. Our platform combines vertical take-off capability with efficient fixed-wing flight and is designed for high payload, long range and robust operational readiness.

• Development of highly automated, unmanned heavy-lift EVTOL systems for demanding transportation and supply missions
• Development of advanced flight control and regulation systems including sensor fusion, flight control software and fail-operational concepts
