Profile
KRP Mechatec GmbH is an engineering service provider specializing in tests and analyses in the field of aerospace, aviation, fusion research and other high-tech industries, certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
Technology
Thanks to our in-house supply of liquid helium, we can cool test samples to -269°C (4K) or heat them to over 1000°C with our ovens - covering an exceptionally wide range of temperatures. We have a versatile test infrastructure at our disposal for testing materials and components, including vacuum, temperature and climate chambers, a universal testing machine and a shock test bench. We also carry out structural and thermal analysis tests.
Products
We specialize in developing and operating customer-specific test setups to meet even unusual requirements, but we also carry out standard tests in accordance with standards. This is complemented by our in-depth analysis expertise, enabling us to verify results and correlate them with test data. We can also support you with our expertise in FEM analysis during development or optimize designs with regard to thermal and dynamic properties, for example. As an engineering office, we also take on entire design work packages or take care of the production and assembly of prototypes and mock-ups.
Our testing options:
- Mechanical tests
- Universal testing machine (-269°C to 1000°C): including tensile tests, compression tests, bending tests, fracture toughness, creep rate, fracture toughness, shear tests, pin-bearing, pull-off/peel tests
