Knowledge and technology transfer (KTT) is the third field of activity of the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich in addition to research and teaching. KTT can be understood as an exchange process. Know-how, research efforts and results, information, patents, infrastructure, personnel, material and financial resources and more are exchanged. The university provides knowledge in a transfer relationship and all involved exchange many types of tangible and intangible goods. The research at UniBwM is very interested in suggestions and practical experiences of its cooperation partners, in order to be able to orientate itself scientifically on them as well.
