The Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP is one of the most experienced and established institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. 

The foundation of its research and development work is the application of building physics principles. In addition to classical building physics topics such as acoustics or indoor climate, for example, the institute conducts research on a wide range of projects with high social relevance.
